Still reading? Alternative media sources and modern culture are seducing conventional readers away from their traditional reading habits.

Will today's concept of reading disappear? How can book and magazine publishers keep their readers?

Speakers from across the publishing industry will discuss the issues with 21st century reading and debate possible solutions.

Free admission to those interested in debating these issues.

Huge swathes of the traditional reading market are being lost in several publishing sectors.

Is this reversible? We must decide whether to find new ways to win back readers, or join the game and change our delivery media.

Michael Barnard,
Deputy Chairman Macmillan Publishing Group and Visiting Professor University of the Arts London
