PUBLISHING INNOVATION CONFERENCE 2011

Thanks to all who attended PAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE! This year’s Publishing Innovation Conference was an overwhelming success with¬†fascinating discussions from our panels and¬†the highest attendance to date! Although the majority of our audience were students, nearly 20% of the 175 attendees were industry professionals.

We would like to hear about your experience of the conference and request that all who attended fill in a brief feedback form here. We hope you enjoyed the event and wish to extend a special thank you to our speakers for offering their insights to this year’s conference.

Please watch this website for photos and video from the event, coming soon!

“The challenge of adapting content effectively for new platforms and building communities within the changing publishing environment is something we are all facing. Macmillan is pleased that this conference continues to address topical issues which are so relevant to our industry and we are happy to be sponsoring this lively and relevant event again this year.”

Annette Thomas, CEO Macmillan

How are publishers adapting content creation and exploiting social media to be relevant in the era of digital handheld devices?

Every year, MA students from the Publishing programme at the London College of Communication organise an evening conference addressing current issues within the Publishing industry. This year’s conference took place on March 24th with discussions on new developments in content and social networks and an opening perspective provided by Quark.
