Jack Self is an architect and writer based in London. He is Director of the REAL Foundation and Editor-in-Chief of the Real Review. In 2016, Jack curated the British Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale.

Jack’s writing has appeared in The Guardian, 032c, New Philosopher and BBC News. His first book Real Estates: Life Without Debt (2014) is now in its second printing. Jack is also contributing Editor for the Architectural Review (2009-), and as an editor for Strelka Press (2011-2013) he developed the first print-on-demand books on architecture.

**Real Review is the flagship publication of the REAL Foundation and is published quarterly. Through engaging analysis, evaluation and enquiry, the Real Review pursues what is means to live today.
