Sponsored by Macmillan, the Publishing Innovation Conference is organised by a group of MA Publishing students as part of their Publishing Management Project. The conference is now in it’s 5th year and the previous 4 years have been very successful.
The conference always attracts eminent and exciting representatives from the industry. The issues which will be raised at this year's conference are particularly relevant in the current unstable economic climate and the conference will be sure to attract students, alumni and publishing professionals alike. Please click the ‘Speakers’ tab for a list of this years influential panellists.

The topics for the previous four years have been varied and stimulating. Themes have covered relevant issues to publishing such as diversity, freedom of expression, and the environmental green agenda. Last year’s conference, Still Reading, covered the potential impact of the Google generation on book and magazine publishers.

The Publishing Conference gives students an insight into the real world of the publishing industry and inspires them to engage with real issues rather than theory.
Year on year the conference builds upon the strong links LCC has with this dynamic industry by inviting industry leaders to share their knowledge and expertise with the publishers of tomorrow.
This year the topic of the ‘credit crunch’ is universally significant across a wide range of industries. We hope that this will encourage students from all UAL and London colleges to take an interest and join the debate.
